A new identity for an organisation doing vital work in the community

Brushstrokes is a relatively small organisation and the team realised that they needed to raise their profile. A new logo would make themselves more easily identifiable: to funders, to stakeholders, and among the wider community.

The new logo is based on two halves of a stylised letter ‘B’ embracing each other, emphasising the inclusive and welcoming nature of Brushstrokes’ work. A new colour palette was developed, combining subtle blues (maintaining consistency with their existing collateral) and an eye-popping yellow to really grab the attention.

A simple set of usage guidelines empowers the team to create marketing materials in-house.

The result

The new logo presents a more professional face to stakeholders and funders – improving their ability to raise income, and has given the team a renewed sense of pride in the organisation.
